Hi fellow Zoners,

I am fond of reading books. Are you aware of books formatted in Daisy? I hope you can help me to find where I can get them for free. Thank you very much! Kindly send me a private message here on zone, twitter, email or skype. Thanks again!

As you aren't in the U.S., this may not help you, but I'm posting for others who may see this. Daisy books can be downloaded from
openlibrary.org

These are computer-narrated daisy files, not narrated by humans, but it is a good alternative source for free books, and I don't just mean public domain material. I've found newly published books on offer there.

Search by title or author, click on the book title link, then search for "Daisy" The link you want to click on will usually say encrypted daisy, and on the page opened from that link is the actual download link.

I use this site nearly every day, sometimes just as a way to see what titles are available from a given author (books are listed, even when there's no daisy available), and would be glad to offer further tips or help, if I can.

VioletBlue,

Thanks for that info. But unfortunately, maybe I cannot access that website since I live in the Philippines. If possible you can find other websites I can access for free to get daisy books, please let me know. Thank you very much!
